We are having a very busy month finishing our new build Fit Out BRITTAS-2 🥰 in co. Laois.

Every stage brings us closer to the finished home, and it`s exciting to see all the design details coming together.

From statement flooring and carefully planned lighting to the finishing touches throughout the house, each element plays its part in creating a cohesive interior.
There is still more to come, but the transformation is already taking shape. And we can`t wait to share the finished result with you! 🤍

Complete project: Master En-suite, Portarlington, co.Laois

From an outdated, basic bathroom to a completely bespoke en-suite. ✨

This was a complex space to design, with every detail carefully considered — from the concealed illumination and bespoke lighting details to the tile layout, custom furniture and vanity stone.

The lighting was particularly important. We used concealed LED illumination to create a soft ambient glow throughout the space, while carefully integrating it into the architecture.

We also upgraded the ventilation system to improve air circulation, manage humidity and create a better interior environment — because good design isn`t only about how a room looks, but how it works.
A small space, but a lot of design thinking behind it.
And I`m very happy with the result. 🥰

We are continuing a fitout of the New Build in co.Laois. It is our second site Brittas-2 for a family relocating from Seattle, USA.
This week we installed lots of various lighting coving types. 👌 LED strip lighting has a beautiful illumination but it needs to be concealed or dipped into something like coving for example 😉🙌
We used it for the stepped ceiling in the den, bathrooms, curtains covings and even stepped coving to give master ensuite a more decorative finish.

LIGHTING COVING IN INTERIOR 🙌

I often get asked about this detail, so wanted to give you a closer look at this product with the finished effect. 👌

The little detail that makes a big difference is the gap at the top. I recommend allowing approximately 2 inches between the coving and the ceiling to give the LED strip enough space to create a soft, even wash of light.

And this is the finished result… 🤍
A beautiful, warm ambient glow that illuminates the ceiling without exposing the LED source or creating harsh hotspots.
One of my favourite places to use lighting coving is the bathroom. It gives the room a really soft, luxurious atmosphere while still providing useful overall illumination.

It’s a great example of why we consider lighting as part of the architecture from the early stages of a project — not as something added at the end.

OUR BESPOKE DESIGN FOR COSBY AVENUE RESIDENTIAL PROJECT IN CO.LAOIS

It`s a good example how multifunctional wall can be designed as one cohesive piece. 🙌

Three distinct zones, united by one aesthetic: a dedicated desk and workspace on the left, a bespoke TV and media unit at the centre, and tall bespoke storage on the right with integrated lighting and carefully considered display areas.

Rather than treating each function separately, we designed the entire wall as one continuous composition — practical, elegant and completely tailored to the way the space is used.

This is where bespoke design makes the difference: every centimetre has a purpose, while the overall look remains calm, balanced and timeless.
